Post 4: "Independence" Holidays

Today we write about our independence day holidays, but these holidays aren't a remembrance of the independence of our country, but a remembrance of the first national goverment meet, but for everyone is the same. I'm not a patriotic person, and, in general terms, I don't like the celebration is like. Everyone wants to eat in excess, and a lot of pieces of meat, and party all days and nights. I am calm, and I need a peacefully enviroment to be fine. For that, my holidays was in my house, with my family; this is that I really like of a celebrations week like this, and often I do it thus. I have been calm with my family in house, cooking simple food like salads of many types, and taking a long time rest everyday. In my free times I do things like read, write letters to my friends, get long conversations with my family after dinner, around the table, and take a nice time walking near to my home, in the neibourghood. Also, I practiced yoga more time than before, and I teach my mom some yoga positions.

I prefer, over all, I mean things like go to “fondas” or overcrowded barbacues, to be and enjoy time with my family, and also with friends. I went Saturday in the night to "Forestal" Park with some friends, and we have a nice picnic day.

I don’t like the “volantines” (kite), neither children that run fast, like a crazy or a dog, behind a kite to catch it with a long staff or any long thing. I don’t like the winos, because they disturb all the people in the street. That is.

Post 3: Holidays

So, the best holidays I can remember were in 2005, when I and my family went to the chilean south on our “station” car, a famous model of Subaru: “Legacy”. I said that because all my family (parents and two sisters) have great memories with it, also we have photos with it. Well, we went to different places; first, we come to Talcahuano, to visit some relatives that live in this city. Then, we leave this city, and went to a camping, near to Concepción, in a place called “Chivilingo”, and we stay there a week,  visiting a lake near the camping called "Lanalgüe", and it is a very wonderful place, because we arrive when the weather was cold, and even was raining, but I and my sisters swam in the lukewarm waters of the lake. I remember that and I can feel the physic sensation, I mean, I can bring to my imagination the feeling of satisfaction, the security and hapiness of stay relaxing with all my family, in a beautiful place and with an exquisite weather. We, my family and I, really love the southern landscapes, and always we can enjoy these travels. After the week, we went more down, and we arrive to Puerto Saavedra, a place in the coast, with a huge river mouth, alike a lake.

The only thing I did these month on holidays are enjoy, and I couldn’t fed up to enjoy and rest. It was the most amazing holidays, because I could stay with my family, only enjoy the holidays, for a complete month.

Post 2: Norway

Well, I would like visit many countries and cities, but since a lot of time before now, I really want to visit Norway. That country attracts me due to his history, especially about the Vikings and his stories, described in the sagas. These ancient cultures really like me, and that is my great motive to want to be there, and know its landscapes and old towns.

All I know about Norway, which is too poorly, I know it through internet images, some movies, and the different readings about the Vikings and his traditions. And for that, I would like to be there, to know nearly the Scandinavian culture and traditions, visit famous places, sail near the fiords, travel the forests, and so on… Maybe will be good also study the “Norsk” Language, that I know is different to others languages near Norway. But, in the case to learn some Nordic language, I would prefer the Icelandic, which, as I know, is most like the truly ancient speaking of the northern people, in the Middle Ages.

If I can study there, I would like get Germanic culture chairs, to soak in the cultures of the north.

First term of the year 2012

Yes, the time flies, but not in vain. The first term of this year I do a lot of things, between those, study a lot of time. Starting by the (horrible) summer classes, because we cannot finish it until March. Thus, I think, all the students was suffering by the hot wheater, in the classrooms. By my side, philosophic literature really likes me, more than the novels, ‘cause I feel that I can understand many things about the life and modern society. For that, each day I studied, after a long time of ‘hard’ study, I did other relaxing  activities, like be on internet and stuffs like that; nothing  that can make me thinking.

Also, I tried to find the activities that really like me, I mean, funnier and productive hobbys.  I start to wove ribbons, like the vikings acient belts. I learn it by my self, searching information on the internet, and then only I did it.

Something remarkable about the first term of this year would be that I can finish the academic semester in a good way, with very good grades at the courses, and also good oportunities of job in the faculty, with a professor who give me work to do. I think that I do a good work, and leave me with a good academic future in that sense… I felt sure. But now is another thing.
